Clarity Before Commitment

We help leaders make better operational and technology decisions.

Engaged SCM is a supply chain advisory firm specializing in warehousing, logistics, inventory, and operational performance for asset-heavy industrial organizations.

About Engaged scm

Engaged SCM logo

pattern

Engaged SCM was built around a pattern seen repeatedly across supply chain operations: organizations committing to solutions before they are clear on the problem, the priorities, or what it will take to make change stick.

operations

As operations grow more complex, leaders have more technology, more data, and more options than ever before. That does not always make decisions easier. In many cases, it makes it harder to know where to focus, and easier to invest in the wrong fix

Results

  • Technology introduced before the operation is ready
  • Capital committed without enough operational clarity
  • Performance issues treated as system problems when the real issue sits elsewhere
  • Teams expected to change without enough alignment or buy-in

How We're built

Engaged SCM was built to help leaders avoid that pattern.

We work with organizations to clarify priorities, make sound decisions, and execute in a way that holds up in the real world. We do this from the boardroom and from the floor, because the best path forward requires understanding both.

Our Difference

The difference between our plans and others? Ours can actually be delivered.

When getting the decision wrong is not an option, leaders call us to provide the clarity, discipline, and floor-level oversight required to get it right.

Our FOunder

Brent Willett founded Engaged SCM to close the gap between supply chain strategy and operational reality.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with deep experience across global consulting and industry leadership, Brent brings a perspective that connects financial discipline, operational credibility, and technology decision-making. He has spent as much time in industrial facilities and on site as in boardrooms - and that combination shapes everything Engaged SCM does.

What sets Brent apart is not just his technical range. It is that he earns trust at every level of the organizations he works with. Leaders rely on his financial discipline and strategic clarity. Operations teams talk to him because he knows the right questions to ask and understands the work from the inside. That combination of executive credibility and floor-level trust is what turns recommendations into results that stick.

Before founding Engaged SCM, Brent held senior supply chain advisory roles at Deloitte and EY, leading complex modernization and performance improvement initiatives across multiple industries. He also served as CEO of Supply Chain Canada (Alberta Institute).

Brent currently serves as a strategic advisor to the Alberta Logistics Centre of Excellence and is regularly engaged in executive education, industry development, and applied programs that help supply chain leaders navigate operational and technology change with greater confidence.

Is Your Bottom Line Paying for a Broken Process?

Most asset-heavy operations have hidden inefficiencies that technology alone will not fix. We find them, build the plan, and stay engaged until the results are real.
